Examining a Wounded Heart- What other people do can hurt us and can cut deep to the heart. Maybe a spouse is unfaithful in marriage or does something to cause the hurt. There is nothing that can hurt like a wounded heart. When you are lying in bed at night and cannot go to sleep, you may think of how life used to be. You may be dwelling on how your dreams have been crushed. The Devil likes to play mind games with people. He will lie to you and tell you that all the hurts you have faced are all your fault. In reality, you may not have done anything to cause your hurts. Maybe a parent did something to tear your family apart. Maybe you are that teen looking up to the sky blaming yourself for all of the misfortune that you have faced.
