I believe people today wonder where they fit in society. What am I? Am I a Republican? Should I continue supporting the Republican Party? Why do we have so many elected officials who say that they are Republican, yet change is still not seen?
I think many times political parties behave much like my children on many issues. They will work really hard to save five dollars, and then want to spend it all on bubblegum at the checkout at Walmart. Sometimes children will ask if they can use lunch money to buy ice cream instead of caring about their nutritional needs for proper meals.
I believe many times political parties will rally behind someone they think will make them look good or someone that they can control instead of supporting someone who will fight for Conservative Republican principles. A Conservative Republican believes in small government and allowing the local government more power to make decisions. Republican and Democrat parties do not mind growing government and spending tax dollars to do so.
I believe in the platform that the Republican Party says that they stand for, but I believe in order to see change in America a Conservative Republican will see the job completed. A Conservative Republican should not be scared of change if that change does not contradict the policies of the great Constitution that this country was founded upon.
A Conservative Republican does not hate people, he loves people. For this reason, he must not compromise truth! Every good land has laws to which it is governed. I cannot drive to my home without having to drive the speed limit and stop at the red light. These rules keep my family and me safe as well as protecting the safety of others. We must have laws regarding illegal immigrants so that the citizens and legal immigrants in America are protected.
A few years ago I lived in a house in a subdivision where there was a large ditch beside my yard with snakes and other dangers. A fence carefully surrounded our yard to keep my children safe. How foolish my children would be to grow up and say, “Oh, how I hate this fence! This fence keeps me from going to Johnny and Sue’s house (fictitious of course).” How sad if my children were to see the barrier as their enemy instead of seeing the barrier as their protection.
What a shame to have a political party that would support an individual who has never before stood for Conservative issues and would vote opposite of what the Republican Party is supposed to stand for. The Conservative Republican running for office who has a stronger conservative voting record may sound harsh. On the other hand, when our nation is leaning to the left, and our National spending debt is totally out of control, and when babies are still being murdered in America, and many other issues are still not dealt with, a strong Conservative Republican must let their voice be heard. We must rally behind strong individuals who are tired of being average, and be willing to fight for the principles our nation was founded upon.
I hope you will think about this thought. Being a Conservative Republican and standing when others are not brave enough to stand may not be popular, nevertheless we must stand. We must stand for the flag! We must stand for freedom!
