In the United States of America, the concept of liberty is enshrined in the nation’s very foundation.
From the Declaration of Independence to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, the principles of freedom, individual rights, and limited government are at the core of American identity. However, in recent times,
concerns have arisen about the potential erosion of these cherished liberties.
The Declaration of Independence, penned by Thomas Jefferson and adopted on July 4, 1776, was not merely a proclamation of independence from British rule; it was a bold declaration of the ideals and principles that would define the United States as a young nation. It served as a moral compass, a guiding light for a fledgling democracy, and a statement to the world about the aspirations of the American people.
