How to decide who you will support in a primary
With there being several candidates running for office in 2019, it will be hard to decide which candidate you will support in the primary.
Hopefully, by the end of this post you will have some guidelines on how to decide who you will support in a primary. In some races there may even be two or more very qualified candidates who would do an excellent job at whatever they are running for. I want to encourage you to involve yourself as much as you possibly can in order to help your candidate get his or her message out!
I. Faith in Christ
II. Personal Life
III. Policy Stance
There are many who say that they stand on the Constitution; although when the time comes to vote, they actually trample the Constitution!
I want to work with a candidate, who we might not agree on many issues, but one who will not trample on my beliefs or force me to choose an issue over my faith! We live in a sad time where there are those who will try and silence those who stand strong on the Word of God and on the Constitution!
I highly recommend meeting one on one with those who we elect, and those who represent us in Washington and in our State Capitols!
The men and women who represent us are for the most part very kind, and would love to hear from you! You do not always have to call them and complain, you can also call them and encourage them. Let them know when they do something that you like.
I know, in my county, there will be several different races as well as statewide races. We will have several elections across our beautiful state. I have already decided on many of the races that I will be supporting, but there are a few that I have yet to decide.
My family will spend time in prayer and fasting for each candidate. We will also be praying that the best man or lady will win for the better of our state and nation.
I want my state to be a strong, RED state where liberty and freedom is available for all families, businesses, and churches. If we elect a Democrat for Governor or Lieutenant Governor than we could see our state become like California. It is vitally important for all of us to work together to make sure we keep the beautiful Mississippi, Red!
