I know this Religious Exemptions post will spark controversy.
I also know that the medical community is trusted in a lot of homes across America. I don’t jump on every conspiracy train out there, and believe every article I read. But, I urge you to read this with an open mind and with a bias towards parents. That’s right. Any parent. No matter what choice they make regarding their child’s immunizations. Keep reading. 👇🏼
Let me start by saying I am not pro-vaccinations or anti-vaccinations.
It is possible to not be on either side in this cancel-culture of today’s world.
We live in a country where parents are losing their rights. In our country right now, there are people fighting to make homeschool illegal. There are people fighting to make it impossible for kids to go to school without getting injected with vaccines that are approved by CDC, but not by the parents. Mississippi is one of five states that provide NO non-medical exemptions. That means that in our state, along with California, New York, West Virginia, and as of June of 2021- Maine, a mom and dad cannot legally put their kid in private or public school without a medical history of adverse reactions to a vaccine. So basically, let’s wait until a child is injured before we give them the option to opt out. Where is the freedom in that?
It really shouldn’t matter what we think.
It is the right of a parent to have religious exemptions.
But, let’s talk a little about one of these deadly diseases. Measles. Not a disease. It is an infection that is treatable. WHO claims that the measles vaccine has saved more than 25.5 million lives globally since 2000. Okay, so is that number of people that got vaccinated or proof that all of those people would have died otherwise? Is this in fact, proof that every child should be forced to have an MMR vaccine in order to attend school?
Have we thought about the possibility of the eradication of these diseases happening because of sanitation laws, clean drinking water, access to healthier food, supplements, and the amazing ability of the immune system to fight off diseases? That maybe, just maybe, our bodies, in a healthy state, were built to withstand these diseases? Something for me to think about, personally.
Whether you or I vaccinate our child is really nobody’s business-wouldn’t you agree?
So why does the government feel the need to take away the right of the parent? Why does the government stick their hands in every aspect of our lives?
Some may ask what would be the reasoning for a religious exemption since the Jehovah Witness organizations have supposedly lightened up on their once strong stance against vaccinations. Although no one should have to defend their religious liberties or share why they disagree with an unknown foreign substance being injected to their child’s body, let’s talk about an ingredient that has missed the media.
Human Diploid Cells. Human DNA, Human Embryo Cells.
Now think what you want. I’ll be sure to provide links straight to the CDC website at the bottom with these ingredients listed. Most defensive arguments for the use of cells separated from fetal tissue from a once aborted fetus, is that this fetus was aborted years and years ago. Regardless of whether we agree or disagree, it is a parent’s right to object to those ingredients going into their child’s body plain and simple. Abortion, or anyone affiliated with abortion, using aborted fetal cells for experimentation, vaccinations, etc. should absolutely qualify as a reason for rejection of vaccines due to religious purposes.
If parent’s cannot put their child in school without vaccinating and there is pressure to take away homeschool as an option, where does that leave the parent? A. Vaccinate. B. Move out of state. C. Homeschool illegally.
This is absolutely ludicrous in my opinion, and between the Lieutenant Governor and the Speaker of the House, this could be put to a vote and ultimately passed as a law to give the parents of Mississippi the right to choose what goes into their own child’s body.
Let’s create a world of privacy amongst parents in America.
We should trust our rights. Let’s not just give in to the government’s agenda and actually fight for change. Let’s listen to parents that care about the well-being of their children. Let’s speak up when we disagree. Let’s respect parent’s decisions to not vaccinate, and also respect the parent that chooses to do so in what they feel is best for their child.
